The project involves the development of an area for the installation of various services related to transportation and cargo within the available land inside the Mejillones Port Complex.
It includes the creation of an Integrated Services Center with parking for trucks and space for public offices, a Logistics Park with a warehouse area or distribution centers, and lots for specialized projects such as container yards or others.
The provision of these types of services will make the logistics chains of the terminals operating at CPM more efficient at first, but they will also be able to offer services to the rest of the ports in the bay, given their strategic location in the foreport area.
Additionally, it will provide an opportunity for the creation of businesses associated with cargo and transportation services that do not exist today, which will result in greater competitiveness for Mejillones at the regional level.
